  Our Stay at Kamilo 404 was just the break our family needed this year to relax, re-charge, and also get some great time with each other! The Home was inviting, large and spacious. SRP Management was awesome to work with, very polite, knowledgeable, informative and accommodating! The pool and rec areas are just a minute walk from the house which was great as we have three little ones to herd around. Lastly the private beach which we had access to was beautiful and not over crowded. Overall we loved the stay and the management company! We will definitely be renting from them again.

The unit was very close to the community pool which was a plus with small children. We also enjoyed the Mauni Lani beach access as well which ,again, is great for small children.   We just returned from the Big Island after our stay at Kamilo 404. The stay was absolutely stellar from start to finish. The property was exactly as described - clean, spacious, well apppointed in every way. We were told the BBQ was awaiting replacement, and in the meantime another BBQ was brought in which was essentially brand new and worked perfectly.
  
  Mike Shiwota, the property manager, helped seamlessly coordinate our crib delivery prior to our arrival and was prompt to reply to any email questions we had about the surrounding areas. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure we had a good stay and even found us a last minute suite which we could use due to our late flight. This property is excellent and Mike's professionalism, customer service and kindness is unparalleled. We cannot wait to return.

  We had a great stay in Kamilo 404. The unit is nicely decorated and well equipted. Good location as it's right next door to the pool/exercise room and across from garbage. The unit is very clean, well maintained and decorated nicely. The master bedroom and queen bedroom are a good size with adequate storage. The twin bedroom is very small with very limited storage. It has 1 small 3 drawer dresser in the closet however the closet bar is so high, it's hard to reach for kids. I'd recommend the closet be built in with storage options for 2 people. It was very hard to stay organized in that room. The furniture outside was different than in the pictures. When we stayed there it had 4 chairs (not very uncomfortable) and a table (different than in the pictures) that is kind of wobbly. I love to sit outside in the morning/evening and would have loved to have a more comfortable setup out there. Shig and Mike are great and help out with anything you need.

  Keanu Cottage is a great house for a group of folks traveling together. One of the main challenges with sharing a house is sharing bathrooms. Well, this is not an issue, because every bedroom has their own bathroom!!
  
  The Cottage has a well-equipped kitchen for cooking meals. The great room is a wonderful gathering spot. The lanai is great for morning coffee, but it is fairly small.

  Loved this place. It was spotless and very spacious for the 6 of us. The private beach club access is a must-have with its great bar and restaurant! The 2 giant pools and fitness center two doors away are awesome. Tho it is not a view unit the lanai is pure Hawaii tropical and very relaxing. The one car garage is an added bonus and it is loaded with boogie boards, coolers, snorkel equipment. The location is also perfect for walking to Holoholokai Beach Park and the Fairmont. There is a small, very nice grocery store on the Mauna Lani property. We loved everything about this stay.

  We have had many vacation rental experience. This property was by far the loveliest place to be. It is a gorgeous unit, nicely situated, quiet in a quiet neighbourhood. It is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. We found that lovely orange cushion in the picture was on it's last legs, otherwise all furnishings were quite nice. The BBQ needed extra cleaning and this was attended to most timely. Shiwota team were prompt, pleasant and very attentive to our queries.   It was very nice. Everything was great. Just a few suggestions. The master bedroom has a glass frame around the tub and several people walked into it and hit their head when they got up at night. I would put a big sticker on the glass so that no one bangs into it. We had this unit last year and my husband and I both ran into the glass. Also, the front door seems to be hard to open. It takes several times before the door releases. It took me almost 10 tries to open the door. Everyone had trouble with it. But that is all. Otherwise, perfect and we may come again next year.

  This property was wonderful. It was sparking clean and had everything you could ever need while on vacation in Hawaii including beach towels, boogie boards, snorkle gear, sand toys, beach bags, coolers, a completely stocked kitchen and even board games. The house was roomy and comfortable. It was a great location and was very peaceful. We loved the neighborhood. Shig and Maya were great and answered all of our questions! It was close to everything in the Mauna Lani area and we even got a discount for the golf course there. There was a Foodland just 2 minutes away for groceries. My one suggestion is to replace some of the bath towels since they were starting to get a slight musty smell and the master bedroom needed new pillows. Those seemed to be wearing out. Besides that, it was perfect and we would stay there again! We did not want to leave Ka Milo 404! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a comfortable residential place to stay on the Big Island!

  The house is lovely and just as pictured. There is plenty of space and it is well equipped! We appreciated the additional linens as well as all the beach toys, coolers etc. The garage is rather small if you have a larger vehicle so we parked outside. The house is very close to the pool which was very convenient but a bit far from the beach club. The only issue we experienced was the refund of our security deposit. The contract states the refund will be processed within 2 weeks of checkout; however, ours took 3+ weeks. The management company was quick to respond to emails regarding the issue. The only other item to note is the regulation (cannot set below 73) on the air conditioning. We felt as though this should be left up to the renter given the cost of them home and we felt the home to be warm a few nights.

  We vacationed for a week with two of our adult children and elderly parents recently, staying at this VRBO. The single story, open floor plan was AMAZINGLY clean and perfect. Having three bedrooms and three bathrooms meant complete privacy for each twosome.
  Garage is a bit small for fitting a van, and not attached to the unit, but otherwise, the location is close to the community center and convenient for entering and leaving the development.
  Shig was very responsive with answering questions, and his app (which offers suggestions on places to visit and eat) is helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again. Thanks Shig and owner for the beautiful accommodations.

  This was a perfect place for our Hawaii vacation. We shared the house with another family who also have a 10 year old son. The boys loved the pool and the hot tub. We took advantage of activities in Kona, Waimea, and even circumnavigated the island with a half day on Kilauea. The house's kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. The facility was clean when we arrived. Very comfortable accommodations. There are some nice places to snorkel at the resort, the beaches were fun for the kids. There is a market in the resort for fresh food. Costco is very near the Kona airport. We will remember this vacation and the Kamilo with great fondness.
